Learn how to stay strong and healthy in your senior years with the latest medical research findings and practical advice on improving balance and preventing falls. 

This FREE session will give you a better understanding of:

  • How balance works in the body
  • Exercises and activities you can do to improve your balance and avoid dizziness
  • Proactive steps you can take to reduce your risk of falls

You'll hear from some of our leading researchers:
  1. Professor Alan Brichta
    Alan Brichta is a neurobiologist with a research focus on the anatomy and physiology of the peripheral and central vestibular system, which drives the body's balance.

    He has published over 70 papers in neuroscience and physiology journals based on the balance system and how the inner ear organs and brain impact balance. 
     

  2. Associate Professor Rebecca Lim
    Rebecca Lim is a Senior Lecturer and chief investigator. Her research is primarily interested in balance and the vestibular system.

    Rebecca is a reocgnised expert in auditory (hearing) research, which involves neighbouring regions in the inner ear and brain stem.
