Dr Gary Crowfoot is a Registered Nurse and Senior Lecturer at the University of Newcastle.
Dr Crowfoot researches with equal passion in the fields of professional nursing education and TIA and minor stroke research. His educational research seeks to explore improved models of professional experience education for nurses in clinical settings and the impact on quality care.
The focus of his TIA and minor stroke research is on exploring the lasting impacts of TIA and minor stroke among community-dwelling survivors.
Guy has more than 20 published journal articles and has presented his work at national and international conferences. He reviews for high-ranking journals including the Journal of Advanced Nursing and PLOS one. He hopes that his work can lead to improvements in nursing education and care delivery for all health consumers.
