Dr Srikanth Vallabani is a skilled researcher with 14 years of experience in nanomaterials, biomedicine, microbiology, and genetic toxicology.

Currently working as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Newcastle, Australia, Srikanth’s primary focus lies in investigating gynecological diseases. His research encompasses early biomarker detection and the development of organoid disease models to find solutions for major women’s health issues.

Prior to his current role, Srikanth conducted groundbreaking research at the Institute of Environmental Medicine (IMM), Karolinska Institutet, Sweden. There, he led pivotal projects examining the genotoxic effects of nanoparticles and pollutants on lung cells. His work extended to assessing the toxicological aspects of ultrafine particles, 3D printing metal particles, and microplastics.

Srikanth has expertise in various scientific fields, such as in vitro model development, molecular biology, microbiology techniques, nanomaterials, biomedicine, flow cytometry, and electron microscopy.
