Have you ever wondered what goes on in your brain? Here’s your chance with a new interactive exhibition at Watt Space from June 5 – 30.
Brain @ Watt Space is a collaboration between teachers and scientists in Psychology, Neuroscience, Creative Industries and Architecture – working alongside the community.
The project is led by Dr Michelle Kelly, a clinical psychologist and neuropsychologist at the University of Newcastle.
Dr Kelly is part of the Brain and Mental Health program at HMRI, and is excited about showing the public how we look at the brain, why we look at the brain, and what we find when we look into the brain.
Watt Space Gallery has been filled with images and representations of the brain – from photographic representations to a special brain built by men at the Belmont Men’s Shed.
The exhibition will run from Wednesday to Sunday, 11am to 5pm until June 30.
