Healthy Ageing - Planning for a Long and Active Life Virtual Community Seminar

August 12, 2020 - 6:00pm to 7:00pm

Join us for a virtual seminar with leading experts Professor Julie Byles and Professor Kichu Nair who will share how research is helping us live better, healthier lives.

Whether you’re in your 30s, 40s or beyond, it’s never too early or too late to improve your health and wellbeing.

  • What do you need to do to set yourself up for a longer, healthier life?
  • What is the research telling us?

Join us to find out more.

Professor Julie Byles wants to see us all age-well: her work highlights that ageing doesn’t equal declining physical and mental health. Professor Byles explores how we maintain quality of life as we age.

Professor Kichu Nair AM is working to bring an evidence basis to dementia care: he wants to see happier and healthier patients, carers and society.

This event will be livestreamed on Facebook, and is relevant to anyone who would like to learn how to live better for longer. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions, which will be answered by our speakers at the event.

If you have any questions you’d like to ask, please email them to communications@hmri.org.au or ask them on our Facebook page on the night.

The seminar will be professionally filmed and edited, and will be available on our YouTube channel the week after the event.
