With the novel coronavirus COVID-19 now declared a global health pandemic, HMRI has made the decision to move online, postpone or cancel our community activities. As such, we have made the decision to postpone the Gut Health Community Seminar that was scheduled for Thursday 26 March till later on in the year. This will allow us to safely share all the amazing information in person and ensure you can have the opportunity to meet and interactive with our incredible gut health researchers.
Please join us for a community seminar that takes you inside the gut. Hear from world-leading experts in gut health about the microbiome, digestion and the delicate relationship between gut health and mental health.
From kombucha to kimchi, digestive health is a hot topic in the wellbeing sphere. But how can we sort fact from fiction? Should you be taking probiotics to improve your gut health? What does the science say?
Hear from our experts and have a chance to ask your questions of a researcher panel in a special q+a session. Research booths will also be set in the Haggarty Space, so you’ll have the opportunity to speak to our researchers and find out more about the work we’re doing at HMRI and beyond.
After the talks conclude, you’ll have the opportunity to go on a Lab Tour.
Important note: if you would like to attend a lab tour, please wear enclosed shoes (no sandals or thongs).
