BorneHMRI is a science collaboration between BorneUK and Hunter Medical Research Institute (HMRI) researchers dedicated to finding answers and solutions to preterm birth.
BorneHMRI was established by retired Australian rugby star Dean Mumm and his wife Sarah after their devastating personal experience. They have given birth to 6 children, 4 of whom were lost due to preterm birth. Dean and Sarah are passionate about ending preterm birth so that no parent goes through their experience.
Join Dean and Sarah for the interactive, online event 'Tackling Premature Birth". The evening will include:
- A rugby panel discussion and Q&A featuring Dean Mumm and retired Australia rugby star Phil Waugh;
- A research update from BorneHMRI pregnancy and reproduction experts Distinguished Laureate Professor Roger Smith and Dr Jonathan Paul;
- A delicious food and beverage pack, delivered to your door for you to enjoy during the event.
Proceeds from all ticket sales will be donated to BorneHMRI to enable researchers to continue to search for answers in the quest to prevent preterm birth.
Many thanks to our sponsors Metcash, Taylors Wines and Southtrade International.
