CLARITY Microscope

The CLARITY Microscope is a new technology that enables 3D imaging of tissues. It has caught the imagination and attention of one of our major donors who granted $150,000 to build a microscope here at HMRI as a shared service.

This funding will enable HMRI to build the microscope and also run CLARITY workshops to provide 3D tissue clearing and imaging capabilities to HMRI/UoN. A number of lab groups have already expressed interest in the CLARITY technique and light sheet microscope facility.
