Michelle’s PhD project is entitled The Contribution of Genetic Susceptibility to Breast Cancer.

The area of Michelle's research involves identifying potential biomarkers that may well have been overlooked as a result of technology ceilings that have not been breached.

This will include using new high-throughput techniques that may be possibly implemented in a clinical setting, allowing for better identification of genetic factors involved in the risk of developing breast cancer as well as predicting disease features.
