Who is this session for?

This session is designed for stroke survivors, carers of people living with stroke and those interested in understanding the modifiable risk factors to prevent stroke as well as recovering after stroke.

Dr Heidi Janssen

Heidi is a medical researcher and physiotherapist who is passionate about ensuring people living with stroke receive rehabilitation and post-stroke management that works - and that they have been given the opportunity to recover as best as they can after their stroke.

Heidi's main research interests include environmental enrichment and secondary stroke prevention through regular physical activity.
