Before Grayson’s parents, Josh and Maddie, feed him, they carry out four essential tasks: check his blood sugars, inject insulin with a syringe into his little body, count the carbs in his meal, and feed him. If they get it wrong, it can have dire consequences. A team led by HMRI researcher Professor Bruce King are working to ease some of that stress and burden by developing an app that calculates the correct dose as easy as taking a photo.
