Stroke and TIA survivors, and carers – we need your opinion.
How we can work better with you on stroke research? What should we be researching? What you know or think about the Stroke Research Register?
In 2016, we started the Stroke Research Register to connect people who have had a stroke or transient ischaemic attack (TIA) to researchers in the Hunter region. There are now 500 people registered to be contacted about research projects.
We want to find out how we can better work with you to improve the lives and well-being of people with stroke and TIA. We want to know more about how you would prefer to get invited to research studies, and how you would like to be kept up to date with research generally.
Importantly - we want to know which stroke-related problems you think we should be researching.
You can do this survey if:
- You have ever had a stroke
- You have ever had a TIA
- You care for someone who has had a stroke or TIA
