She has led national and international research projects and published extensively, focusing on evaluating the clinical, humanistic, economic, and implementation aspects of community pharmacy consultation services in Australia.
Sarah has a deep understanding of national and international policy, having consulted with experts from the UK and Canada. She maintains a strong collaborative network with universities, professional organisations, researchers, healthcare professionals, and industry leaders.

These projects involve 18 partner organisations and chief investigators from major national universities, with outcomes expected to impact primary healthcare delivery and pharmacy practice both nationally and internationally.
She also leads the pharmacy arm of a multi-year project aimed at improving healthcare access in regional NSW by integrating a new triage line with general practice and pharmacy consultations.
