2024 Sparke Helmore Newcastle City Triathlon

The 2024 Sparke Helmore Newcastle City Triathlon is an exciting opportunity for individuals and teams to engage in fitness while supporting vital medical research.  

As the official charity partner for this year’s event, HMRI invites you to participate and help take healthy further for our community. 

Taking place on Sunday November 10 2024, the triathlon will be staged from Camp Shortland near Nobbys Beach. You can compete individually or as part of a 2-3 person relay team, enjoying one of the most picturesque courses in Australia. 

How to get involved

Your help could save the lives of your family members, friends, or colleagues who are racing against the clock to find a cure.

  1. Register to compete:  Compete in the triathlon as an individual or a team! Sign up > 
  2. Fundraise for HMRI: If you're competing in the triathlon, create a fundraising page for HMRI and raise funds for life-saving medical research.  Create your fundraiser >
  3. Donate to Team HMRI: HMRI team members are challenging themselves and are ready to compete in the triathlon! If you'd like to support us, donate here > 
  4. Spread the word: Reach out to your networks to support your fundraising efforts and raise awareness about HMRI’s ambitions to create the healthiest million people for the planet. 
  5. Visit our booth: On event day, stop by the HMRI booth to grab exclusive merchandise and learn more about how together we’re taking healthy further!
