Professor Dimity Pond is a GP clinician researcher. She has an established record in aged care research, particularly in the area of dementia.

She has received over $50 million in grants, including a number of NHRMC funded grants, and published over 200 papers in the peer reviewed literature. She is currently chair of the Research Committee (REC-R) of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Throughout her career she has remained in clinical practice.
