Dr Shou-Yu Cindy Wang, PhD, RN, is an Associate Professor in Nursing at the School of Nursing and Midwifery, College of Health, Medicine and Wellbeing, University of Newcastle, Australia. She completed her Master and PhD at Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, Australia. After completing her PhD, she worked overseas in tertiary education sectors for more than 10 years before she returned to Australia in 2019.

Her field and research interests include qualitative research, grounded theory, cancer nursing, and the views of palliative care in chronic illness (including cancer) from family, patients and health care professionals’ perspectives. Her interests include traveling, watching movies and reading.
