Dr Rosa Baleato is a specialist mental health clinical pharmacist who works for the Hunter New England Local Health District Mental Health Service, and as a consultant general practice pharmacist. She has previously worked as a senior medicines information pharmacist for the Ministry of Health and as a consultant and community pharmacist.
Dr Baleato has extensive interdisciplinary experience providing governance and oversight across the medication management pathway to achieve safe and effective use of medicines. Dr Baleato is a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Advanced Pharmacy (FANZCAP), achieving accredited consultant level in the specialties of Leadership and Management, and Medicines Management.
Rosa worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Newcastle in the field of experimental oncology, and has a PhD in Molecular Biology.
