Dr Alexander Laar has over 15 years of experience in health system strengthening research using innovative digital health and quality improvement initiatives to improve population health outcomes in the Ghanaian healthcare system and low- and upper-middle-income countries.
He has worked with several local and international research organisations, implementing innovative interventions and applying quality improvement and digital health approaches in reproductive, maternal, newborn, and child health.
Dr Laar has led research projects as a lead researcher and quality improvement expert working with national research organisations and international non-governmental organisations. His research works has contributed to policy for health system strengthening for improvement of population health outcomes in LMICs. He has over 20 publications in high impact peer reviewed journals.
