We are located in the John Hunter Health & Innovation Precinct in New Lambton Heights, right behind the John Hunter Hospital.

Visitor Information

HMRI Reception is located on Level 4 and is open from 8.30am to 5pm, five days a week.

The Skybridge walkway from Kookaburra Circuit accesses the reception area directly. Otherwise, there is also a public entry with lift access on the ground floor beside the HMRI staff car park. All visitors must sign in at reception.

Arriving by car

Enter through the main entrance to the John Hunter Hospital from Lookout Rd. We are located on a one way circuit behind the main hospital building. There are no public visitor car parks directly next to HMRI. Guests of HMRI can request a bookable car space within the staff car park prior to arrival. The nearest public car parks are Visitor Car Parks #2 and #6 at the John Hunter Hospital. Please contact us on 4042 0000 if you require assistance.
