Prof Carl Johan Sundberg and Dr Anna Nilsson Vindefjärd

Join us as two international experts share their experience of founding a BioEntrepeneurship program, that has been running for 18 years at the Karolinska Institute, Sweden.

Carl Johan Sundberg is Chair of Research!Sweden, and a licensed physician and professor at Karolinska. His research is focused on human genetics, genomics and epigenetics in relation to physical activity. He also co-leads the Unit for Bioentrepreneurship, which conducts research and education in innovation, management, entrepreneurship and intellectual property.

Anna Vindefjärd is Founder and Secretary General of Research!Sweden. She was the first PhD in Medical Innovation in Sweden, and completed her postdoctoral studies at Stanford University. She also established the first course in BioEntrepreneurship in Sweden and at Stanford.
