The Theory and Practice of Comparative Effectiveness Research
The September HMRI Seminar Series features internationally recognised expert in comparative effectiveness research, Professor Francesco Chiappelli.
Professor Chiappelli’s work investigates how we can truly obtain the “best available” evidence, how to obtain reliable assessments and analyses of it, how to best disseminate this information, and how we integrate this into evidence-based clinical decision-making.
Comparative effectiveness research is a process that results in improved patient outcomes, enhanced research planning, better products, and novel evidence-based policy development.
