Lisa has made substantial contributions to a number of competitive research grant applications, research projects and position papers in public health and health behaviour epidemiology.

She has worked across a range of areas, including cancer, autism, alcohol, smoking, depression, obesity and diabetes.

Lisa’s proposed research plan to explore advance care planning amongst haematological cancer patients in Japan will build on her PhD research and our recent work at Kyoto University Hospital. This research will provide important information to guide psychosocial care for cancer patients who have a preference for family centred decision making. It will also strengthen academically important links between psycho-oncology researchers in Australia and Japan.
