HMRI Art Series Exhibition: Long Lunch

HMRI Art Series Exhibition: Long Lunch

Breaking boundaries and fusing scientific brilliance with creative artistry, is at the heart of the HMRI Art Series Exhibition which is being held this November.

Join us to celebrate the coming together of art and science.

Since its launch in 2005, the HMRI Art Series has become an annual tradition, thanks to the support of Adjunct Professor Chris and Shirley Piggott and the incredible generosity of local artists.

The HMRI Art Series is an annual collaboration between HMRI’s Researcher of the Year and a local artist who combines their research with artistic expression. This year, we are proud to feature Tyler Dan as our Artist in Residence, whose work is inspired by Professor Zsolt Balogh and his groundbreaking research in traumatology.

Combined with Tyler’s incredible representation of Zsolt’s work - titled ‘The Tyranny of Sensitivity’, the HMRI Art Series Exhibition will feature the works of more than 50 highly acclaimed local artists. at Ravella on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd November.

Join us on Sunday 3rd November at Ravella, Newcastle for the culminating event of the HMRI Art Series Exhibition - The Long Lunch

An afternoon of indulgence featuring an incredible lunchtime feast by Alfie’s Italian and a 4-hour drinks package.
Celebrate with us on the final day of the HMRI Art Series Exhibition and don’t miss your chance to take home some of the fantastic pieces by some of our best local and Australian artists.

The silent online auction (which features all the artworks) will open on Monday 28th October and close at 4.00pm Sunday 3rd November.

In addition to Tyler Dan’s Art Series Artwork, the exhibition will also feature works by these talented local artists:
