At HMRI, we continue to be humbled by the support we’ve received since day one. We’re proud to be part of a community that looks out for each other, and supports each other through some of life’s toughest challenges. We simply wouldn’t be here without our generous supporters.Â
Your investment into HMRI will help to fast-track important research. The impact of your thoughtful gift will continue to change lives in the Hunter New England region and beyond, as we share our discoveries with the world.Â

I was recently awarded an NHMRC Investigator Grant – this is basically the holy grail for researchers!
The grant has been awarded for the continued development of our uterine-targeted nanoparticles research for preventing preterm birth. I would not have been able to accomplish this without the invaluable support of Sarah and Dean Mumm from BorneHMRI, and the support they have contributed to our research program over what is now many years.
I'm proud that I've been able to leverage this donations to continue to develop the technology toward preventing preterm birth and meaningfully improving birth outcomes for families.Dr Jonathan Paul, HMRI Mothers and Babies Research Program
