Dr Arvind Kendurkar is a Senior Staff Specialist with Drug and Alcohol Services, Hunter New England Health, NSW-Health and Visiting Medical Officer at Toronto Private Hospital, Toronto NSW.

He is a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists and Chapter of the Addiction Medicine with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. He is currently enrolled as a PhD Scholar at the Matilda Centre for Research in Mental Health and Substance Use at the University of Sydney.

The topic of his PhD thesis is on the relationship between Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Opioid Use among adults with Chronic Non-Cancer Pain.
