Published more than 30 journal articles about rural health issues

Dr Luke Wakely is an Academic Team Leader with the University of Newcastle Department of Rural Health. He has worked as a paediatric physiotherapist and academic for more than 20 years in rural New South Wales.

He is passionate about redressing inequity for rural communities particularly for children and their families, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Communities and people with a disability.

Luke is currently supporting 6 RHD students.
