Dr Munish Heer is a renal transplant, vascular access and general surgeon
Dr Heer is a Fellow of Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in General Surgery. He specialises in renal transplant and dialysis access surgeries. He also performs other minimally invasive general surgeries incuding gall bladder and hernia operations.

He is current Director of Renal Transplant Surgery at John Hunter Hospital.

Dr Heer is a skilled general surgeon with a passion for excellence in surgical care. He has a strong educational background and a commitment to the latest surgical techniques. He is a passionate researcher with affiliation to Hunter Medical Research Institute. He has published in many scientific papers and is always exploring new models of care.
In addition to his appointments with Hunter New England Health, Dr Heer also held position of Director of Renal Transplant Surgery at The Alfred, Melbourne.
