Dr Priscilla Viana Da Silva has a background in physiotherapy with an emphasis on musculoskeletal conditions.
After graduating from her Masters of Research at the University Cidade de São Paulo (UNICID) in Brazil, Priscilla moved to Australia to complete her PhD with the Hunter New England Musculoskeletal Health Program and the University of Newcastle.
Currently, Priscilla holds a postdoc position with the HMRI Research Impact team as a Research Impact Officer and a Senior Research Assistant with the University of Newcastle in an NHMRC funder randomised controlled trial of a web-based intervention to support colorectal cancer patients in their preparation for and recovery from surgery.
