Dr Stephanie Lithgow has a background as a speech pathologist with interests in aged care and neurological conditions.
She has worked in Australia and the United Kingdom, specialising in adult cognitive impairment. She expanded her experience providing care service coordination and case management to adults in the community aged care sector and working with people with dementia and their caregivers.
Stephanieโs interest in dementia care led her to complete a PhD examining older womenโs experiences of elder abuse and impacts of dementia in this context.
Her current research interests include multiple aspects of womenโs health equity and use of computational linguistics to maximise qualitative research outputs from womenโs free-text comments.
