Akhil Gajipara is a PhD student specialising in the development of gene therapy and drug delivery tools aimed at treating adrenal disorders.
With a strong molecular biology and pharmacology foundation, Akhil focuses on designing and engineering nanoparticles as effective delivery vehicles for therapeutic agents. He uses advanced characterisation techniques to ensure that each nanoparticle is optimised for targeted delivery, stability, and efficacy.
His research spans from the meticulous formulation of nanoparticles to the application of cutting-edge analytical methods to characterise these nano-tools. A critical part of Akhil’s work involves using sophisticated technologies to study genetic modifications in vivo, allowing them to observe therapeutic effects and directly monitor gene therapy approaches’ safety and efficiency.
Through a multidisciplinary approach that combines materials science, molecular biology, and pharmacological techniques, Akhil is committed to advancing therapies for adrenal disorders, aiming to make a meaningful impact on patients’ lives by enhancing precision and efficacy in gene therapy and drug delivery systems.
