Nikitas Koussis is a recently submitted PhD student whose thesis sought to understand the computational and functional imaging correlates of early psychotic disorders.
He is now a senior research assistant and, once his PhD is conferred, a postdoctoral researcher in imaging and methods development in brain cancer.
He currently uses machine learning and spectra of graphs and surfaces to uncover commonalities across tumour types for surgical planning and diagnostics/prognostics. He also has a passion for bringing tools from physics and mathematics to studying the human brain.
