Ms Emma Byrnes is a Senior Research Officer for the Centre of Women’s Health Research. Emma has completed a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Hons) and Master of Clinical Epidemiology (Distinction).

Emma has expertise in qualitative methodology and analysis and has worked on various projects with a focus on women’s experiences of violence and abuse. Emma is managing a trauma-informed care research project which aims to aims to improve best practice when providing health care to women who have lived with violence or abuse.
