Awarded ‘Outstanding New Investigator Award’ from the International Society of Behavioural Medicine.

Associate Professor Rebecca Wyse is a behavioural scientist who specialises in developing digital behavioural interventions to support chronic disease prevention and treatment. She is a research fellow with the Cancer Institute NSW and also holds an honorary fellowship with the Heart Foundation.
She has also conducted research across a range of risk factors for cancer, cardiovascular disease, asthma, obesity, as well and preparation for and recovery from surgery. Her interventions have been adapted for different population groups, adopted in state-wide prevention plans, rolled out across the Local Health District and have reached thousands of NSW school students.

She has received over $5 million in funding, and her work in behavioural science has been recognised through receiving international awards including the ‘Outstanding New Investigator Award’ from the International Society of Behavioural Medicine.
