Our researchers are always looking for volunteers to take part in their research studies. Take part in a real-life research study today.
Those who participate in clinical trials and research studies are often the first to access and benefit from new and emerging treatments across a range of health areas.
Our research studies and clinical trials cover a wide range of health and disease areas including stroke, cancer, asthma and more.
You can volunteer for different studies if you’re healthy, or if you’ve been diagnosed with one or more medical conditions.
Every research project at HMRI has the goal of transforming the health and wellbeing of our communities. Community participation in our research is crucial to finding new cures, discovering new breakthroughs, and improving health outcomes for all.
Your participation helps people in our community living with a health condition or illness take one step closer to a new or improved treatment.
You choose what you’d like to get involved in. You may like to do one particular study or volunteer for a study that continues over months or years.
Every study is different. Some may be a quick phone call or a survey. Others might ask you to donate blood. Some may give you access to a multi-week food program.
The choice is yours and you can always leave at any time.
HMRI would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we work and live, the Awabakal and Worimi peoples, and pay our respects to Elders past and present. We recognise and respect their cultural heritage and beliefs and their continued connection to their land.
