Art for Impact | Opening Night

Join us for opening night, Friday 13 March, a vibrant celebration featuring Newcastle’s finest emerging and established artists. Walk through the gallery, meet the creators, and be among the first to view on this year’s extraordinary collection of over 70+ artworks for sale as part of the HMRI Art for Impact online auction.

Tickets include a drink on arrival, grazing board and canapes.

Art for Impact is HMRI Foundation’s signature celebration of creativity, community, and world-leading medical research. Building on the success of the 2021 and 2024 Art Series Exhibitions, this expanded three-day event brings together Newcastle’s vibrant art community and HMRI’s mission to Discover Local. Cure Global.
Across the weekend, guests can experience a curated program of activities, including our Opening Night event, Draw and Pour Workshop, culminating in the highly anticipated Long, Long Luncheon and the Art for Impact online auction. Every artwork and every ticket purchased helps fund groundbreaking medical research that directly improves the health and wellbeing of our community in the Hunter and beyond. The auction will be live online from 27th February 2026.
