Host a Purple Morning Tea for Women’s Health this Medical Research Giving Day

Host a Purple Morning Tea for Women’s Health this Medical Research Giving Day

HMRI is joining more than 30 medical research institutes across Australia for the inaugural Medical Research Giving Day on Wednesday September 9. With women's health historically under-funded and under-researched, we're aiming to raise $100,000 to support women's health research projects happening right here at HMRI.

We're encouraging workplaces, community groups, schools, sporting clubs and organisations who are passionate about creating a healthier future for women and families in our region to host a Purple Morning Tea in support of HMRI's work in women's health research.

You can share a plate, wear your favourite purple outfit and take part in a conversation about why medical research matters.

Plan your tea - The official Medical Research Giving Day is Wednesday September 9, but you can choose any date in the lead up that works for you! When you register, you'll get your free host kit! Your host kit contains everything you need to host a successful morning tea, that your guests will love! Inside you'll find posters, decorations, posters and more.
Every dollar raised support critical women's health research projects happening right here in the Hunter New England region, from endometriosis, breast and gynaecological cancers, infertility, pregnancy, dementia, menopause and hormones and mental health.
