Join HMRI for a special International Men’s Day Luncheon at Belmont 16s Sailing Club, bringing the community together for an afternoon of conversation and connection around men’s mental and physical health.

Hear from Matt Hall, reigning Red Bull Air Race world champion and former Royal Australian Air Force top gun fighter pilot as he delivers an inspiring keynote address, PLUS a spectacular aerial display.

The event will also feature a thought-provoking panel discussion with Matt and three HMRI researchers, exploring the health challenges facing men today and the research shaping a healthier future.”

Guests will enjoy a two course lunch and drinks package with waterfront views of Lake Macquarie.

Meet special guest Matt Hall

Reigning Red Bull Air Race world champion and former Royal Australian Air Force top gun fighter pilot

Matt Hall brings to life his fascinating story from humble beginnings to unimaginable goals. Matt is a third generation pilot whose life in aviation has seen intense military combat, multiple near-death experiences and immortalisation in the Red Bull Air Race, the fastest motorsport on the planet.

Former wing commander in the Royal Australian Air Force, a combat veteran of Iraq with USAF medals for heroism under fire, Matt takes his audience into a world where the stakes are high and the margins for error are extremely slim.
