Having access to safe, reliable and evidence-based nutritional information is incredibly important during the cancer journey.
Researchers from the University of Newcastle want to hear from people living with and beyond cancer to better understand what they are currently eating so we can, in future research projects, tailor dietary advice and nutritional information to better meet their needs.
Why is the research being done?
This research will help the research team to better understand the nutritional needs of people living with and beyond cancer. This information gathered will be used to co-develop targeted evidence-based resources in future projects.
Who can participate in the research study?
Adults aged 18 years and over, that are living in Australia, who have been diagnosed with cancer or are caring for someone with cancer.
What will study participants be asked to do?
We invite you to complete an anonymous 10 min online survey that will ask you about:
- Your (or of the person you care for) cancer diagnosis (e.g. type of cancer, date of diagnosis, treatment types undergone)
- Your current eating habits and cancer-related side effects experienced that can impact eating habits during your cancer journey.
After completing the survey, you can choose to enter a prize draw to win 1 of 100 e-gift cards.
