The HMRI Building continues to develop at a fantastic pace as the construction project team focus on providing a quality research facility.
The building has approximately four months of construction and concurrent commissioning to complete and, despite the impact of wet weather, is expected to be completed on April 3, 2012.
Briefing sessions are scheduled for Tuesday, February 7, at the Royal Newcastle Centre Lecture Theatre (10am) and David Maddison Building Lecture Theatre (noon) for those researchers and academics moving in.
A Frequently Asked Questions leaflet has been produced for those moving into the facility or interested in its development. For a copy click here.
HMRI would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we work and live, the Awabakal and Worimi peoples, and pay our respects to Elders past and present. We recognise and respect their cultural heritage and beliefs and their continued connection to their land.
