Join the Hunter Children’s Research Foundation for the annual Hunter Construction Group’s Lunch for the Kids, a relaxed luncheon with beautiful outlook, hosted at the picturesque Spicers Guesthouse.
We’re delighted to welcome again the lovely television presenter Johanna Griggs AM as our special guest.

Enjoy a relaxed afternoon featuring live music, gourmet canapés, and a delicious three-course meal, paired with premium First Creek wines and Toohey’s beer.

There’ll be a live auction, silent auction, raffles, and lucky seat prizes along with garden lounges, umbrellas, and country views, and plenty of laughter as we raise vital funds for research into children’s illnesses.

Hunter Construction Group's Lunch For The Kids

Johanna Griggs is a beloved Australian television presenter and former world champion swimmer. Best known for hosting Channel Seven's Better Homes and Gardens for many years, she has become a household name through her warm, engaging presenting style.

Johanna's remarkable journey began in competitive swimming, where she overcame chronic fatigue to achieve world record times, including the fastest 50-metre backstroke globally in 1993 at the Australian Swimming Championships. Since transitioning to television, she has brought her natural authenticity and infectious enthusiasm to sports coverage, lifestyle programming, and live events across Australia.
