Hunter Children's Research Foundation Awards

The Hunter Children’s Research Foundation (HCRF) is proud to support vital research into life-threatening and serious childhood illnesses through annual project grants.

Each year, funds raised by the Foundation are made available to HMRI-affiliated researchers via a competitive application process. Up to $30,000 is awarded per project, supporting direct research costs such as personnel, consumables, equipment, data collection and publication over a 15-month period.

To be eligible, projects must focus on illnesses affecting children (under 18 years) and involve child participants or data derived from them. 

Research teams may include up to five Chief Investigators, with at least two being affiliated with HMRI.

2. Complete the application form

Applications should be completed using the application form provided. Download it here.
You are required to complete all sections of the application form.

3. Lodge your application

The Word document, and any other attachments, should be converted to one PDF before submitting via to [email protected]

Applications must be received by Friday 25th of July at 11:59pm.
