Associate Professor Anoop Enjeti a clinician researcher in haematology with appointments at Calvary Mater and NSW Health Pathology.

He has dual qualifications in clinical and laboratory haematology, and is currently employed as a senior clinical haematologist at the Calvary Mater Hospital and a lead for Myelodysplasia and Leukaemia. He is the
Director of Haematology (laboratory) for NSW Health Pathology covering Hunter New England and Mid North Coast Local Health Districts.

Associate Professor Enjeti is an active member of the NSW regional cancer research network where he has established active collaborations with cancer researchers locally and across the state.

Associate Professor Enjeti’s research focus spans policy, health system interventions and translational molecular biology of leukemia/pre-leukemia – this includes early phase clinical trials in haematological malignancies (AML/MDS), translational diagnostics for blood cancers, novel solutions to transfusion medicine challenges
and investigation of circulating microvesicles and miRNA in abnormal clonal haemopoiesis to improve the outcomes for blood diseases in regional Australia with both health and knowledge impacts.
