Associate Professor David Boettiger applies his expertise in epidemiology and health economics to analyse large datasets and create models that address global infectious disease challenges. His research on HIV and viral hepatitis has been cited in clinical guidelines in Australia and internationally, improving the lives of people affected by these infections. By collaborating with clinical, laboratory, and public health experts, his goal is to create a world where infectious diseases are rare, rapidly diagnosed, and easily treated.
