Dr. Amiee Dowdell is an early-carer researcher with a PHD in biomedical chemistry (University of Newcastle) and specialises in the neuron-to-tumour interaction. She completed her PHD studies on the brain cancer glioblastoma, in which she investigated novel targets and therapeutics that would improve patient outcomes in treatment resistant glioblastoma.

Currently, she is working with Professor Hubert Hondermarck and Dr Jiang, investigating novel therapeutic targets for HER2+ breast cancers resistant to standard therapies.
