Dr Bronwyn Brew is an epidemiologist with over 15 years experience in asthma and allergy. Her fields of research include perinatal and early life risk factors for child asthma and allergy, asthma in pregnancy, and genetic origins for asthma and comorbidities such as depression and gastro-esophageal reflux.

Dr Brew completed her PhD at the University of Sydney in 2014 and held a Marie Curie post-doc at the Karolinska Institute in Sweden from 2016-2018. She was the Director of teaching at the Centre for Big Data Research in Health in 2021 and was the project manager for the Early Life Course Data Platform and Senior Lecturer for ‘Introduction to Perinatal Epidemiology and Biostatistics’ from 2019- 2023.
