Dr Jack Carlson is currently completing his PhD investigating the incidence and outcomes of primary pulmonary artery thrombosis in trauma patients.
In 2021, Dr Carlson graduated with first-class honours and received the University Medal from Western Sydney University School of Medicine. Subsequently, he completed his Master of Surgery at the University of Sydney.
During his education, he engaged in diverse research areas such as lumbar spinal surgery, artificial anterior cruciate ligament repair, cataract molecular pathogenesis, and the impact of COVID-19 on mental health.
