Dr Jannah Jones is an HMRI/Hunter New England Clinical & Health Services Research Fellow, dietitian, and public health practitioner who is passionate about improving the health of young children through the delivery of high-quality programs that effectively reduce behavioural risk factors for the development of chronic diseases.

For the past 14 years, her career has been focused on leading the conduct of large-scale innovative implementation interventions, co-produced with end users to promote healthy eating and physical activity and prevent obesity in young children across multiple community-based settings.

She is an early career researcher and has published 47 peer-reviewed publications and has been successful at obtaining >$2 million in competitive grant funding and awards. Her current research is focused on the scale-up and optimisation of the SWAP IT Healthy Lunchbox program across Australia.
