Dr Judith Weidenhofer is a senior lecturer in the School of Biomedical Sciences & Pharmacy at the University of Newcastle.
Her research focus is on improving methods for diagnosing and providing prognostic information for cancer for the past 20 years. With additional collaborative projects involving identification of new drugs and their actions in treating cancer. A key priority for Dr Weidenhofer is the translation of this work to clinical practice, as such she involves consumers in all stages of research and ensures the experimental work conducted uses approaches that are directly translatable to clinical practice.
