A senior staff specialist at Hunter New England Health, Dr Natalie Rutherford is well experienced in Nuclear Medicine with a career of 15 years.

Collaborative clinical research has always played a role as a Hunter Region PI for the ProPSMA , and TheraP trials, leading the way for improved characterisation of prostate cancer staging and treatment. Currently, Dr Rutherford’s research focuses on theranostic pathways for prostate cancer.

Recent research projects have included a diagnostic addition to asthma with a new role for radionuclide lung scanning.
