“Dr. Prince Atorkey is a Lecturer in Psychological Science at ACAP University College, Sydney, and an Adjunct Lecturer in the School of Medicine and Public Health at the University of Newcastle. Bridging academic excellence with clinical expertise, he is a registered Clinical Psychologist in Ghana and a Provisional Psychologist in Australia, where he is currently completing his transitional program. He is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK).

Dr. Atorkey’s research portfolio focuses on the intersection of mental health, health promotion interventions, and multiple health risk behaviours. A highly accomplished academic and senior collaborator with the Global Burden of Disease, he has authored over 30 peer-reviewed publications in premier international journals, accumulating more than 18,000 citations. He has delivered over 20 national and international presentations, actively collaborates with research networks worldwide, and regularly serves as a peer reviewer for several leading international journals.
He earned his PhD in Behavioral Science in Relation to Medicine from the University of Newcastle, Australia, where his doctoral thesis pioneered research into the health risk factors and mental health challenges faced by Technical and Further Education (TAFE) students.
